Child Allowance
Child Allowance is received by the government for those who raise their children until they reach 18 years old.
【Recipients】
1.When either the father or the mother:
is divorced
has passed away
seriously injured
has not turned out to be alive or not
is missing
has an experience of DV (domestic violence)
2.When a mother gives birth to a child without marrying.
The amount of allowance will vary in correspondence with the income of the recipient. Please ask your local government.
【The allowance】
With the first child
In case of the full allowance: 43,070 Yen
The allowance will vary from 43,060 Yen to10,160 Yen in correspondence with the employment.
With the second child
In case of the full allowance: 10,170 Yen
The allowance will vary from 10,160 Yen to 5,090 Yen in correspondence with the employment.
With the third child onwards
In case of the full allowance: 6,100 Yen
The allowance will vary from 6,090 Yen to 3,050 Yen in correspondence with the employment.
【Months to be paid】
Around the latter of January, March, May, July, September and November the two moths’ allowance will be paid.
The payment will be transferred to the account you have chosen.
